Legal Disclosures & Disclaimer of Representation

1. No VA Claims Assistance or Representation

The Client explicitly acknowledges and agrees that VA PTSD Firm, LLC (hereafter "the Company") is NOT a veterans service organization (VSO), a claims agent, a law firm, or an attorney. Neither the Company nor any of its staff, employees, or executives are accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to prepare, present, or prosecute claims for veterans' benefits under 38 U.S.C. Chapter 59.

• No Advocacy — The Company does not act as an advocate, representative, or agent for the Client before the VA.
• No Forms Assistance — The Company will not fill out, draft, edit, or submit any official VA claims forms (including but not limited to VA Form 21-526EZ) on behalf of the Client.
• No System Access — The Company does not request, maintain, or utilize Power of Attorney (POA) for the Client and does not have access to the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS).

2. Medical Evaluation Structure

The Company provides independent medical chart review, Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) completion, and Nexus Letter generation through two channels: an in-house medical reviewer, and an additional network of independent, licensed medical providers (the "Network Providers").

• In-House Medical Review — The Company's in-house medical reviewer is a licensed medical professional who may personally conduct your evaluation, complete your DBQ, and prepare your Nexus Letter. The medical opinion rendered is that of the reviewing provider, exercising independent clinical judgment; the Company does not dictate, influence, or guarantee the substance of that opinion.
• Independent Medical Network — For overflow, specialty, or geographic coverage, the Company also maintains a network of independent, licensed Network Providers. Network Providers are independent contractors, not employees, and retain absolute, uninhibited medical autonomy. Any evaluation, DBQ, or Nexus Letter produced through the network is strictly the product of the direct provider-patient relationship between the Client and that independent Network Provider — not a service performed by the Company itself.
• Independent Judgment, Either Way — Regardless of which channel performs your evaluation, the Company does not dictate, influence, or guarantee the medical findings, diagnoses, or opinions rendered, and does not act as an advocate or representative before the VA with respect to that opinion (see Section 1).

3. Flat-Fee Structure & Prohibition of Contingency Fees

In strict compliance with federal laws governing veterans' benefits, all fees charged by the Company are flat, fixed administrative fees — currently $1,500 per independent medical chart review — billed upfront for medical chart review, coordination, and scheduling services.

• No Percentage of Back-Pay — The Company's fees are completely decoupled from the Client's VA claim outcome. The Company does not charge, accept, or calculate fees based on a percentage of the Client's retroactive back-pay, future monthly disability payments, or overall VA disability rating percentage increases.
• Non-Refundability Based on Outcome — Fees paid to the Company cover the administrative and clinical time dedicated to record reviews and evaluations. Fees are non-refundable regardless of whether the VA grants or denies the Client's subsequent benefits claim.

4. Acknowledgment of Free Government Services

The Client acknowledges that they have been explicitly informed that free, accredited claims assistance is available through various sources, including:

• National Veterans Service Organizations (e.g., VFW, DAV, American Legion)
• State and County Veterans Service Officers (VSOs)
• The VA's direct online portal (eToolbox/VA.gov)

The Client affirms that they are choosing to utilize the Company's private medical coordination network voluntarily, at their own financial expense, solely to obtain independent medical evidence.

5. Client Responsibility for Claim Submission

The ultimate responsibility for tracking, compiling, and submitting a benefits claim rests solely with the Client. Upon receipt of any independent medical opinion, DBQ, or Nexus Letter provided by a Network Provider, the Client must independently submit those documents to the VA or pass them to their own accredited VSO, claims agent, or attorney for formal filing.
